Meet Lindsay and Kimberly, the wonderful ladies behind Pink Peony Weddings & Events! I first met Kimberly several years ago while we both worked in sales. I first met Lindsay a couple of years ago at a Mintahoe Tasting event at Nicollet Island Pavilion. She trusted me to do her boudoir session before she flew off to Italy for her wedding! I am so honored that these two asked me to photograph head shots and website photos for their new business. For this photo shoot, these two Minneapolis wedding planners brought along so many fun props! From pink peonies to champagne flutes to gold vases to actual day planners- we had a lot to play with! Plus- how gorgeous are these outfits? Love, love, love! Thanks for the fun shoot, ladies! Can’t wait to work with you two in the future!
Twin Cities Wedding & Events Professionals (TCWEP) retreat at Silverwood Park. There’s a cafe, reception space, and more inside this beautiful venue in the middle of a park in St. Anthony, MN. Thanks to TCWEP for hosting this wonderful retreat and to our speakers, Matt Anderson with Lucy Productions, Mary Ellen Reihsen with Reihsen Law, LLC, and Rebecca Metz with Web Pages that Sell! Special thanks to Muddy Paws Cheesecake for the delicious dessert! And last but not least, thanks to My with Paperthick Ink for designing these fun event programs that even included a coloring section!

Congratulations, Kristy and Joe! These two had their outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception at Brackett’s Crossing in Lakeville, MN. Some highlights from the day include the cute cowgirl boots that the bride, bridesmaids, and flower girls had, as well as all of the fun pops of blue throughout the wedding decor, and a special guest, Dakota, the couple’s dog! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day, Kristy and Joe!
Rustic Elegance and I toured some amazing Minnesota wedding venues, including The Golden Oak Farm. We had an absolute blast hanging out with the llamas that are on the property in Webster, MN! This wedding venue is one hundred acres of beautiful hills, pastures, creeks, apple trees, llamas, and chickens! What else could you ask for? Plus, there is a bridal suite and groom man cave in the main house for getting ready. The couple is also welcomed to stay in the house overnight after the wedding. There’s a honeymoon suite along with several other guest rooms for family, the bridal party, or any one else to stay in after the wedding! If your looking for the perfect spot for a rustic, barn wedding and a lot of glorious spots for photos, add this farm to your venue list!
