Jennie and Patrick had their wedding ceremony at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN followed by a reception at Loring Social. They chose Mount Olivet for their ceremony because they both teach Sunday School there together and this is the same church where Jennie’s dad was baptized and confirmed. Her dad passed away when she was in college so it was very important to honor him at their wedding. What better way than to say “I do” at this church? So special! For the reception, they chose the Loring Social because they wanted a downtown venue for the reception. They loved the Chelsea Room because of the exposed brick and modern marble entry room. Patrick works for Union Pacific and volunteers on the 261 Steam Engine. They had their engagement session with the steam engine (that they only take out once a year)! To incorporate Patrick’s passion for trains, they decided to have some train themed decor at the wedding. Railroad lanterns were used for their centerpieces, they had vintage lanterns from the 1950’s-1960’s for their head table, train coloring books for the kiddos, and train props for the photo booth. Their save the dates even resembled a train ticket! View their engagement session with a steam engine here! Carrie and Stephen had their wedding at the Holiday Inn Lakeville. This couple met back in April of 2011 at a frat party. Stephen caught Carrie’s eye and they exchanged numbers. A few days after the party, Carrie texted Stephen and asked him if he wanted to hang out the next weekend. He agreed and at the last minute, Carrie was offered a pair of Sugarland tickets. So their first date was at the concert! In August of 2011, Stephen officially asked Carrie to be his girlfriend while they were at his family’s cabin on the paddle boat. Five years later, they went to Stephen’s family cabin and decided to go for an evening paddle boat ride. As they were heading back to shore, he pulled out the ring and this time, he asked Carrie to be his wife! When planning their wedding, they knew it made the most sense to have a hotel wedding since a lot of their guests were coming from out of town. They didn’t want their guests to worry about navigating around the Cities to different venues. They also wanted to make sure their guests could have a few drinks and not to worry about transportation! Carrie and Stephen wanted a big party instead of an elegant affair. As Carrie puts it, “I want there to be laughter, fun and imperfection!” Their wedding had candy bars instead of cake, a photo booth, and a DJ. The couple chose a bright purple for their wedding color to compliment their wedding’s fun, party atmosphere. “I am so unbelievably excited to have everyone we love and care about...

This wedding was extra special since the bride is the sister of other Janine with Jeannine Marie Photography! It was so fun to see the day unfold. After getting engaged, Jessica and Zach knew right away that Three Rivers Parks: Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, MN was the perfect venue for them. They live nearby the park and have seen quite a few weddings there while walking around. When they called to secure a date, they knew it was a good sign when their ideal date was available. Their outdoor ceremony was on the patio, overlooking the lake. A little before the ceremony started, there was a thunderstorm and it was pouring. We decided to wait it out and after the storm passed, family and friends helped dry off the chairs just in time for the bride to walk down the aisle! The sky was sunny after that! Looking at the photos, you can’t even tell there was a storm! Back in spring of 2013, Jessica and Zach first met at the Guthrie Theater during the opening night party for Primrose Path. Zach was an actor in the show, and Jessica worked as an usher for the theater. At the party, Jessica approached Zach and said, “You know, you’re the cutest actor in the show.” She then left to go dance with friends. A little later, Zach went over to Jessica and said, “You’re like really gorgeous. Can I have your number so I can take you on a date?” They had their first date a week later. Skip ahead to December of 2015. They went on a winter...
